1. Program Overview:
A comprehensive and advanced professional and applied program extending over 6 months (170 accredited study-load hours / 48 interactive lectures), aimed at preparing and qualifying digital journalists, platform managers, and media-content creators to lead modern newsrooms and platforms. The program covers all dimensions of advanced digital media, beginning with web writing and SEO principles, interactive storytelling and multimedia (Multimedia), managing social-media accounts and audience development, short-video production (Reels, Shorts, TikTok), mobile journalism (MOJO), fundamentals of data journalism and infographics, news-verification and fact-checking techniques (Fact-Checking), employing artificial intelligence (AI) in newsrooms, digital live broadcasting, through to the economics of digital media and the building and financing of media platforms.

- Understanding the digital-media environment and modern newsrooms: Understanding transformations in the media industry and mastering web writing, search engine optimization (SEO), and interactive multimedia storytelling.
- Managing platforms and developing digital audiences: Building publishing strategies for social networks, understanding algorithms, developing engagement, and building digital communities.
- Mastering field and digital production and short-form video: Producing fast professional videos for platforms and employing smartphones (MOJO) in field filming and editing.
- Data verification and employing artificial intelligence: Using fact-checking tools, understanding the fundamentals of data journalism, and utilizing AI tools to generate ideas and improve journalistic production efficiency.
- Managing platform economics and launching media projects: Understanding digital financing models, building visual identity, and establishing and managing independent platforms and electronic magazines.

- Duration and Schedule: 6 months (evening period), at a rate of two lectures per week, two hours per lecture = 48 lectures / 96 direct interactive hours.
- Training Language and Delivery Method: Arabic language | Fully online interactive and applied training (Online).
- Distribution of Accredited Hours (170 total hours):
96 hours: Direct and interactive online lectures.
50 hours: Practical applications and workshops in platform management and digital production.
14 hours: Analysis and review of the strategies of major digital media institutions.
10 hours: Guidance sessions, development of students’ own platforms, and the graduation project.
- Assessment System and Attendance Requirements: Attendance of no less than 75% of lectures, with continuous assessment based on weekly assignments, monthly practical projects, and examinations.
- Certificate and Graduation Project: The graduate is awarded the Comprehensive Professional Diploma in Journalism and Digital Media after completing and discussing the final graduation project, represented by building and launching an integrated news platform or digital magazine (website or specialized channels), together with preparing the content plan and producing its editorial and visual applications.
